Master Jong Woon Kim is a sixth degree Black Belt and holds a Masters Degree in Education and Taekwondo from Kyung-Hee University.
Master Kim was one of the top contending athletes in Korea, from an early age competing and having won 49 gold medals at district, state, nation and international competitions from 1989 through 2001. From 2002 through 2003, Master Kim was coach at the Youngcheon City Professional Taekwondo Team.
He also received a 2009 Citation for Outstanding Service in the Development of Taekwondo from the World Taekwondo Federation.
